Invincible Summer by Hannah Moskowitz

Across four sun-kissed, drama-drenched summers at his family’s beach house, Chase is falling in love, falling in lust, and trying to keep his life from falling apart. But some girls are addictive….”

First of all, I feel it’s important to say it’s NOT a light romance.  The synopsis is a bit misleading.  Now on to my review.

Just from seeing the cover of this book, I knew I was going to love it.  I managed to finish this book in one sitting and as I write this I’m still speechless.  I expected a light summer read, what I got was so much more.  Deep, thoughtful and real.

It’s the sort of world you wish you could be apart of, be friends or family of the characters.  I loved every character for their differences and their sense of family.  They were each amazing in their own way.  And so real.  I currently want to go spend the summer on the beach.

As the summers progressed the characters aged, you could actually tell that they developed.  The references/quotes to Camus brought a smile to my face, now I have to read The Stranger, I’m so curious.

This book isn’t released until April 19th, but definitely check it out.  My copy was provided as a free egalley from Simon & Schuster, as always my review is my honest opinion.
