I’ve been wanting to get my hands on Sean Griswold’s Head for some time. Sometimes we just need some cheesy goodness, you know? At least I do. I expected a light, fun read. I got that, but it was so much more!
It had just enough humor that made me giggle and kept me coming back for more. It naturally progressed, starting with his head to her questioning and wondering what exactly he was thinking…and realizing maybe he was kind of cute and perfect. Perfect he was, I love the character of Sean. He was thoughtful and caring. How could you not love him? Payton was a typical good-girl, but slowly started rebelling…just a bit. In a way it wasn’t really all that rebellious, but to the adults in her life it was totally out of character. She was funny and smart. Jac did get on my nerves a bit, but not too bad. What bugged me was the fact she was so in-your-face and scheming, but that balanced well with Payton’s perfection-turned-rebellion. It’s not that she was malicious in her scheming, just that they were such different people. I also have to mention Grady, because I adored him. I’d love to have uncovered more about Sean’s best friend, becaUse they too were such opposites, maybe even more so than Payton and Jac.
If you haven’t already read it, you definitely should check it out if you are in the mood for a cute, thoughtful contemporary novel! It’s worth your attention.
