Between Here And Forever by Elizabeth Scott

“Abby accepted that she can’t measure up to her beautiful, magnetic sister Tess a long time ago, and knows exactly what she is: Second best. Invisible.
Until the accident.
Now Tess is in a coma, and Abby’s life is on hold. It may have been hard living with Tess, but it’s nothing compared to living without her.
She’s got a plan to bring Tess back though, involving the gorgeous and mysterious Eli, but then Abby learns something about Tess, something that was always there, but that she’d never seen.
Abby is about to find out that truth isn’t always what you think it is, and that life holds more than she ever thought it could..”

I’ve actually NEVER read an Elizabeth Scott book before.  I fail, I know.  I’ve always meant to, but just always overlook them.  Now I have to go buy all of her books. This one was simply fabulous.  It actually shocked me with Eli’s secret too!  Usually I’m one who guesses that sort of stuff early on (I guessed Tess’s, for example).  About Eli, awwww. He’s so adorable!

At times I wanted to slap Abby, the main character.  She’s a bit too whiny and insecure, yet she tugged at my heart strings all the same.

I really enjoyed this book, it was an emotional rollercoaster.  Sometimes that’s just what a reader needs.  Ups and downs.  I plan on buying a finished copy of this one.

Release date is May 24th.  I received this as a free ARC from Simon & Schuster’s GalleyGrab.
